Quickstart

Get trading on Polymarket from Telegram in minutes. This guide walks you through setup, funding, your first trade, selling, withdrawals, and referrals.

What you need

• Telegram app
• USDC or USDC.e on Polygon (PoS)
• You are not located in the U.S.

1) Set Up

• Open the PolyBot in Telegram and tap /start.
• Accept the Terms and the compliance confirmation.
• Your self-custodial Polygon smart wallet (Safe) is created automatically.
• No MATIC required — gas is sponsored by PolyBot's relayer.

2) Deposit Funds

• Run /wallet or tap 💰 Wallet from the Main Menu.
• Tap 💵 Deposit to see your Polygon address and a QR code.
• Send USDC or USDC.e on the Polygon network to your address.
• Any USDC received is automatically converted to USDC.e in the background for trading.
• Balances usually update within 1–3 minutes; use Main Menu → 🔄 Refresh.

Tips

• Network must be Polygon (PoS). Sending on the wrong network will not arrive.
• Minimum effective auto-swap threshold: ~ $0.10 USDC.

3) Place Your First Trade (Market Buy)

• Paste a Polymarket URL (e.g., https://polymarket.com/event/...) directly in chat.
• The market view opens with live prices.
• Tap ✅ Buy YES or ❌ Buy NO.
• Choose a quick-buy amount or enter a custom amount.
• Review the confirmation (net after fee, estimated shares, price) and tap ✅ Confirm Order.
• You'll see a success message with shares and average price; portfolio updates shortly.

4) Place a Limit Order (Buy)

• From a market screen, tap 📈 Limit YES or 📈 Limit NO.
• Enter a limit price in cents (e.g., 75 → $0.75).
• Enter the number of shares (min 5 shares after fee reservation).
• Confirm the order (shows limit vs current price and total cost). Order is GTC.

5) Sell a Position

• Run /portfolio or tap 📊 Portfolio from the Main Menu.
• Pick a position → choose Sell.
• Select 25/50/75/100% or enter a custom number of shares.
• Confirm; on success you'll see shares sold, price, and proceeds.

6) Limit Sell

• In /portfolio, choose Limit Sell for a position.
• Enter a price (¢), then shares (≥ 5), and confirm. Order is GTC.
• Manage/cancel from 📈 Limit Orders.

7) Withdraw Funds

• Run /wallet → tap 💸 Withdraw.
• Enter the destination address (0x… on Polygon) and the amount.
• Confirm; you'll receive a transaction hash (gas is sponsored).

8) Referrals

• Go to ⚙️ Settings → 🤝 Referral Program.
• Copy your deep-link or generate a QR code.
• Claim rewards once your claimable balance meets the minimum.

Troubleshooting

• Deposit not showing: Ensure Polygon network, wait 1–3 minutes for confirmations/auto-swap, then use 🔄 Refresh.
• Order failed: Check balance; if asked to try again, approvals may be finishing in the background — retry in a few seconds.
• Withdrawal delayed: If the sponsor’s MATIC balance is low, try again later; gas is normally sponsored for you.

Safety & Compliance

• You control a self-custodial Safe; export your signer key in ⚙️ Settings (message auto-deletes after 60s).
• Not available to U.S. persons or those located in the U.S.
